MANSIS Asset management (hospital maintenance) has been implemented in the Coruña Healthcare Area with all the processes in an integrated manner, including the necessary parameterizations for the integration of MANSIS Asset management with the current IT systems of the Galician Health Service.
This initial implementation covers the management of the Hospital de la Coruña, the largest hospital in the Coruña Health Area.
Subsequently, the other centers of the Health Area will be added to this implementation. This health area is the hospital infrastructure with the largest number of beds in Galicia, with more than 1,500 beds in its different centers.
MANSIS technology, as a multicenter and multicomplex management system, allows the technological infrastructure to be concentrated in a single server located in the IT services of the Hospital Complex, which provides service to all the hospitals in the Health Area. All this will allow a grouped operation of all the centers or individualized by center depending on the interest at any given time.
During the implementation of MANSIS as an information system for Maintenance and Corporate Asset Management, the following tasks, among others, have been carried out:
- Inventory of assets.
- Definition and codification of groups and subgroups of facilities.
- Definition of the hospital by physical spaces according to plans.
- Training of infrastructure service personnel.
- Training to the personnel of the requesting services (plant, departments and management).
