In 2020, the Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGAC) launched an open international tender to implement an integrated Corporate Information System for financial, fixed assets and logistics management.

For this tender, Mega Sistemas established a Joint Venture with one of its strategic partners in Chile, Browse. The partnership was appointed to carry out the project at the end of 2019.

Chile has a total of 21 aviation facilities between airports and aerodromes.

  • Project kick-off: January 2020
  • Duration: 9 months (implementation)
  • General objective of the contract: Replacing the existing management procedures, which did not allow agile asset related information, with a software system that allowed monitoring and management from anywhere in the country, as well as asset related financial management.

Specific objectives of the contract:

  • Incorporation of an integrated asset management solution, allowing full control of any asset-related process, from purchase to decommissioning.

For this purpose, MANSIS provided the following functionalities:

Work Order Management (WO) – Corrective Maintenance

Conductive, Preventive and Compliance Maintenance

External services management (contract management)

Construction project management

HOW DID MANSIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE DGAC PROJECT?

MANSIS, provided the Civil Aviation General Directorate (DGAC) with an online training program specifically designed for users, specifically designed to meet their needs. In addition, the Mega Sistemas team followed-up the project ensuring the correct evolution of MANSIS within the organization.
